- Ready-made Athmaliya dough
- Qeshta (clotted cream) or cream
- Syrup (qatar/shira)
- Cream ingredients:
- 1 cup dessert whipping cream
- 3 cups milk
- 7 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
Method
- Mix all the cream ingredients cold first, then put them in a pot over the heat until you obtain a thick cream... Add rose water and orange blossom water and place in a side bowl to cool well...
- Roll out the ready-made Athmaliya dough as shown in the accompanying photos... Place the cream on it and roll the Athmaliya dough around it in a spiral or cylinder shape, then fry it in ghee, place on a serving plate, and pour syrup over it as desired
