Ingredients

  • Ready-made Athmaliya dough
  • Qeshta (clotted cream) or cream
  • Syrup (qatar/shira)
  • Cream ingredients:
  • 1 cup dessert whipping cream
  • 3 cups milk
  • 7 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • 1 tablespoon orange blossom water

Method

  1. Mix all the cream ingredients cold first, then put them in a pot over the heat until you obtain a thick cream... Add rose water and orange blossom water and place in a side bowl to cool well...
  2. Roll out the ready-made Athmaliya dough as shown in the accompanying photos... Place the cream on it and roll the Athmaliya dough around it in a spiral or cylinder shape, then fry it in ghee, place on a serving plate, and pour syrup over it as desired
