Lentil Soup with Greens and Lemon
Lentil soup with greens is one of the tastiest lentil soups. Try this cozy, flavorful, and nourishing bowl on cold or rainy days.

- 1 cup lentils
- A bunch of chard (greens)
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 1 onion (dry)
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Salt
Method

- Rinse the lentils after sorting them and boil them in plenty of water over heat
- Meanwhile wash the chard leaves and chop them. Also cut the carrots and potatoes into cubes or medium-sized pieces
- Add the chopped onion to the lentils after they have cooked. You can sauté the onion separately in a little vegetable oil or add it raw, according to preference
- Add the chopped potatoes and carrots
- After the ingredients boil well, add the chard as well and leave them over low heat until everything is cooked
- Serve the lentil and chard soup with lemon juice and toasted bread
