Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Method
- In a deep bowl, combine the egg, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and sugar.
- Whisk all the ingredients well, either in a blender, food processor, or with a hand mixer.
- Gradually add the vegetable oil slowly until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth and well combined.
- It is possible for the mixture to thicken before all the oil is used, so it is best to add the oil as needed until you reach the desired mayonnaise consistency.
