Ingredients

  • 2 cups fine bulgur
  • 6 radishes
  • 7 scallions
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1 small handful fresh mint
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 handful mixed sweet peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil with 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons hot pepper paste or hot pepper molasses
  • 3 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
  • juice of 2 lemons, or more to taste
  • pinch of black pepper

Method

  1. Soak the bulgur in a little water until fully softened, and leave it to soak for about 20 minutes
    Timers: 20 min
  2. After the time has passed, rub it with the pomegranate molasses and hot pepper molasses
  3. Add the vegetables after finely chopping them, and mix
  4. Add the salt, pepper, oils, and lemon juice, then mix
  5. Serve the Turkish Kısır salad with lettuce leaves
