How to make tahini halva with photos, clearly and step by step. Try it first with pistachios, then you can get creative with your own mix-ins!
Ingredients

- 1 cup milk powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup good-quality tahini
- 1/2 cup pistachios
- 3 crushed mastic crystals with a little sugar
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Sift the sugar and milk, then add the mastic and place them in the blender.
- Blend briefly, then add the tahini in two stages.
- A slightly crumbly dough will form.
- Boil the pistachios in cold water, then rinse, peel, and lightly toast them without any additions.
- When the pistachios have cooled, pulse them in a grinder until partially crushed (about half crushed).
- When the pistachios are completely cool, add them to the tahini halva and stir with a spoon until the pistachios are mixed into the dough.
- Line a small mold with plastic wrap, add the halva and press it with your hands to compact it.
- Refrigerate the tahini halva mold to set and firm up until ready to eat.
