Homemade chicken schnitzel (escalope)
Ingredients

- Chicken breast, cut into wide, slightly thin slices
- Black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- A squeeze of lemon
- Flour
- Egg
- Ground toasted bread (breadcrumbs)

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Sprinkle black pepper, salt, and a squeeze of lemon over the cleaned chicken slices, then refrigerate them for about half an hour.
- After the time has passed, prepare a bowl of flour, another with beaten eggs, and a third with breadcrumbs; dip the chicken slices first in the flour, then the egg, and finally the breadcrumbs.
- Fry the chicken escalope in plenty of oil at medium heat, or use a little oil if preferred.
