Cabbage Maqmoura—an easy, quick and very economical recipe!
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Half a medium cabbage, cut into medium pieces
- 1 onion, sliced into crescents
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper powder
- 1/2 cup water

Method
- In a pan on the stove add the oil and onion and sauté until they soften without changing color
- Add the cabbage and toss, then add the spices and salt while continuing to stir
- Pour water over them and cook on medium heat until the water evaporates
