Creamy Corn Soup

Ingredients

- 2 cups corn kernels
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- a pinch of black pepper
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of finely ground nutmeg
- cooking cream, or can be substituted with flour and milk
- chicken bouillon cube, as desired
Method

- Sauté the onion and garlic briefly in butter, then add the chopped parsley and stir; add the cream diluted with a little water and let it simmer briefly.
- Add the corn and pepper; you can add green pepper or chili to taste.
- If you prefer to use flour and milk: after frying the onion, garlic and parsley, add a chicken bouillon cube as desired and 2 tablespoons of flour; whisk well with a hand whisk to prevent lumps, then add 2 cups of milk and stir well to achieve a creamy consistency. Finally add the corn and spices.
