- Accompanying sauce for Thiebou Khaneur:
- Tomatoes, diced
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of hot pepper
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Sauce method:
Method
- Sauté the onion, finely diced, until softened, then add the chicken pieces along with salt and the special spices for this Thiebou Khaneur recipe, if available.
- If the special spices are not available, add a pinch of black pepper, a pinch of ground ginger, two tablespoons of tomato paste, and a pinch of hot pepper or chili, حسب الرغبة.
- When the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and set it aside. .
- Put the chopped tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes, as desired, over low heat. - Place the onion and tomatoes over low heat until they soften, then add the spices, tomato paste, and a little water. When the sauce thickens, turn off the heat and serve it alongside Thiebou Khaneur, or red rice with chicken and vegetables.
