  • Tomato
  • Sweet potato or regular potato
  • Cabbage
  • Carrot
  • Vegetable oil
  • Accompanying sauce for Thiebou Khaneur:
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of hot pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Sauce method:

Method

  1. Sauté the onion, finely diced, until softened, then add the chicken pieces along with salt and the special spices for this Thiebou Khaneur recipe, if available.
  2. If the special spices are not available, add a pinch of black pepper, a pinch of ground ginger, two tablespoons of tomato paste, and a pinch of hot pepper or chili, حسب الرغبة.
  3. When the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and set it aside. .
  4. Put the chopped tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes, as desired, over low heat. After about 10 minutes, add enough water to cover the ingredients and leave them over low heat until they are almost done. Then add the cabbage, chopped into medium pieces, and the chicken so they absorb the vegetable flavor.. Leave the ingredients over low heat until everything is fully cooked.

  5. Cook the rice in the vegetable cooking liquid and serve as desired’
  6. Place the onion and tomatoes over low heat until they soften, then add the spices, tomato paste, and a little water. When the sauce thickens, turn off the heat and serve it alongside Thiebou Khaneur, or red rice with chicken and vegetables.
  7. Cut chicken
