How to Make Hamburger Buns
Make hamburger buns at home with this easy, foolproof, tried-and-tested recipe. Once you make them yourself, you won't want to buy store-bought burger buns again.
Ingredients

- 1 kilo flour
- 2 cups cold water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- A pinch of salt
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup liquid milk
- 2 tablespoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix all the dry ingredients first, then add the water and oil and knead well.
- Let the dough rest for 1 hour, then shape it into medium-sized balls, or any size you want for burger buns, and let it rest for another 4 hours.Timers: 60 min, 240 min
- After the required time has passed, place the baking tray in the preheated oven.
- Bake until the dough balls puff up, cook through, and turn golden brown.
