  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Lemon zest
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup liquid milk
  • 1 cup oil, or substitute with butter

Method

  1. Beat the eggs at highest speed in the electric mixer for about 8 minutes...

  2. Then gradually add the sugar with the vanilla and vinegar, then add the sifted flour with the cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and cornstarch...
  3. Whisk the mixture for about two minutes, then prepare oven-safe cups... Pour some batter into each cup so it reaches half the cup, because it will rise later during baking...
  4. Place the cake cups in the preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes or according to the oven's strength

  5. When the cup cakes are done, remove them from the oven and set aside to cool before decorating as desired.
