How to Make Homemade Qashta (Ashta) and Qareesha
A tried-and-true home method for making ashta (qashta) or kaimr (qareesha). Prepare ashta to serve with a variety of homemade Arabic desserts from start to finish.
Ingredients

- 2 liters of milk
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 carton fresh whipping cream
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Place the milk on the heat until it boils, then reduce the heat and add the juice of the lemon.
- When the milk separates and you obtain curd-like pieces on the surface, pour the mixture into a strainer to remove the remaining liquid from the milk.
- Set it aside to cool, then add the fresh whipping cream and mix well.
