How to Make Brioche

Brioche is a delicious pastry that is very popular in the Arab world for its ease of preparation and wonderful flavor. This recipe is suitable for breakfast or a light dinner depending on your preference.

Ingredients

  • 600 g flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • You can also use lemon zest or orange zest
  • 1 egg
  • Warm milk for kneading

Method

  1. Put the dry ingredients and mix well, then add the egg and mix well; then gradually add the milk and knead until you have a smooth soft dough.
  2. Let the dough rise for one hour, then divide it into equal pieces shaped into balls; roll the pieces into logs and shape them as shown in the accompanying photo or any other shape you prefer.
