Method
- We soak the chickpeas in water the night before cooking them.
- The next day, boil the chickpeas until fully cooked, removing their outer skin, then boil the cabbage and soak the bulgur in hot water for about an hour until the bulgur grains puff...
- Then season the bulgur with chopped onion, salt, marjoram, chickpeas, and olive oil or qawarma (dried spiced meat) or ghee, according to taste and availability...
- You can cook the mixture for a few minutes over low heat because bulgur with boiled cabbage is eaten hot and served with boiled cabbage leaves.
