Coconut Balls

Coconut balls — very tasty and extremely easy

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 1 can (400 g) sweetened condensed milk (Nestlé)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • pinch of vanilla
  • extra shredded coconut for coating

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Put the butter in a pan over the heat until it melts, then add the sweetened condensed milk, 1 cup desiccated coconut, and a pinch of vanilla and stir until the mixture is combined.
  2. Leave the mixture on the heat, stirring continuously, for about 10 to 15 minutes, taking care that it does not burn or stick to the pan.
    Timers: 15 min
  3. When the mixture thickens, transfer it to a plate and leave it to cool to room temperature.
  4. When it has cooled, grease your hands with a little butter so the mixture does not stick while shaping, then form into balls.
  5. Coat the coconut balls with shredded coconut as well, and serve them cold.
  6. You can store the coconut balls in the fridge.
