Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Plain chocolate cake, baked ahead or store-bought
- Sweetened condensed milk
- or
- Nutella
- Whipped Chantilly cream
- Chocolate pieces, melted in a double boiler
- Chocolate sprinkles (vermicelli), crushed nuts, or desiccated coconut for decoration

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Crumble the plain cake and add sweetened condensed milk, or crème chantilly, or Nutella as desired, and knead well.
- Continue kneading until you get a dough-like consistency that does not stick to your hands.
- Shape the mixture into balls of equal size.
- Melt chocolate pieces in a bain-marie and dip the balls completely into the melted chocolate.
- Lift each chocolate-coated ball with a slotted spoon or fork, let it drain for a few seconds, then place it on parchment paper.
- Place the cake pops in the refrigerator or freezer until they just set and the chocolate firms on the outside.
- You can decorate the pops with chocolate, nuts, or coconut before putting them in the freezer.
