Cake pops... a tasty, practical, very delicious recipe, great for birthdays and entertaining

Plain chocolate cake, baked ahead or store-bought

Sweetened condensed milk

or

Nutella

or

Whipped Chantilly cream

Chocolate pieces, melted in a double boiler

Chocolate sprinkles (vermicelli), crushed nuts, or desiccated coconut for decoration

Crumble the plain cake (finely grind), then add sweetened condensed milk, Chantilly cream, or Nutella as desired and mix well.
Continue mixing until you reach a dough-like consistency that doesn’t stick to your hands.
Shape the mixture into balls (pops) of equal size.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and dip each ball completely into the melted chocolate.
Lift each pop out of the chocolate with a slotted spoon or fork, let excess chocolate drip off for a few seconds, then place it on parchment paper.
Place the cake pops in the refrigerator or freezer until they set and the chocolate firms on the outside.
You can decorate the pops with sprinkles, nuts, or coconut before placing them in the freezer.
