Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna
  • 3 potatoes, cut into cubes
  • 1 bunch coriander, chopped
  • 1 head garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper molasses (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fish seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely ground garlic and coriander spices
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. First, fry the potato cubes in plenty of oil... lift them out of the oil and spread them in a pyrex dish or tray.
  2. In a frying pan, sauté the coriander and garlic in 1 tablespoon oil, then add the hot pepper molasses and spices and stir until softened.
  3. Add the tahini, lemon juice, water, and salt, stir, and leave to simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

  4. Distribute the tuna after draining it from the oil or water in the can, and spread it over the potatoes in the pyrex dish.
  5. Pour the tahini sauce over the tuna in the pyrex dish once it has finished simmering for 10 minutes.

  6. Turn on the oven broiler only and place the pyrex dish under it for 15 minutes, until the tuna takes on a nice color on top before serving.
