Recipe story
Crispy cookies made with a quick, affordable, and tasty recipe, perfect for celebrations and holidays. You can even prepare them as soon as you hear guests are coming..
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs, at room temperature
- 500 g flour (approximately)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
- Powdered sugar for decorating - optional
Method
- Whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla well until the sugar dissolves, then add the oil and whisk.
- Add the flour (as needed) with the baking powder gradually, as needed, and bring the dough together without kneading. Do not add all the flour at once.
- Stop mixing as soon as you get a very soft dough (that does not stick to your hands) that can be shaped easily.
- Finally, add the chocolate chips and bring the dough together again.
- Form the dough into balls of your preferred size, then shape the cookies (flatten them slightly while keeping some thickness) and place them on a baking tray.
- Preheat the oven and bake the cookies at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes maximum (on the middle rack in an oven heated from both top and bottom).Timers: 15 min
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool slightly, then dust the tops with powdered sugar (optional).
- Serve the cookies once they have cooled completely.
