Recipe story

Crispy cookies made with a quick, affordable, and tasty recipe, perfect for celebrations and holidays. You can even prepare them as soon as you hear guests are coming..

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs, at room temperature
  • 500 g flour (approximately)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
  • Powdered sugar for decorating - optional

Method

  1. Whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla well until the sugar dissolves, then add the oil and whisk.
  2. Add the flour (as needed) with the baking powder gradually, as needed, and bring the dough together without kneading. Do not add all the flour at once.
  3. Stop mixing as soon as you get a very soft dough (that does not stick to your hands) that can be shaped easily.
  4. Finally, add the chocolate chips and bring the dough together again.
  5. Form the dough into balls of your preferred size, then shape the cookies (flatten them slightly while keeping some thickness) and place them on a baking tray.
  6. Preheat the oven and bake the cookies at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes maximum (on the middle rack in an oven heated from both top and bottom).
    Timers: 15 min
  7. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool slightly, then dust the tops with powdered sugar (optional).
  8. Serve the cookies once they have cooled completely.
