Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado in good condition
- 1 small onion
- 1 small tomato
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of ground cumin
- Lemon juice
Method
- Choose ripe, good-quality avocados—ripe but not overripe—for this recipe to succeed and deliver the right flavor.
- Finely chop the onion, and also finely chop the tomato; then mash the onion and then the tomato in a suitable bowl for mashing.
- After mashing the onion and tomato, add the ripe avocados (after removing the pit) and mash them well.
- Add the chopped cilantro and continue mashing, seasoning with salt, cumin, and lemon juice to taste.
- Serve the avocado guacamole sauce with chips, nachos, chicken fajitas, or tacos.
