Easy Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

- 1 kg broccoli
- 1 liter cooking cream
- 1 liter chicken stock (or 2 chicken stock cubes + 1 liter water)
- Salt
- 200 g butter
- 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 slices toasted bread, cut into cubes (croutons)
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Wash the broccoli, cut it into small pieces, and set aside.
- In a pot over medium heat, melt the butter with the flour and stir well in circular motions or with a whisk.
- Add the cooking cream, chicken stock, and salt to taste, and stir well.
- Bring to a brief boil to let the cream thicken slightly, then add the chopped broccoli and stir.
- Let the broccoli soup simmer over low heat until the broccoli is fully cooked.
- Serve the soup with toasted bread cubes (croutons).
