Ingredients
- 1 kilo beef fillet slices
- 3 carrots
- 1 cup fresh or canned mushrooms
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup peas
- 3 potatoes
- Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon seven-spice blend
- A pinch of red pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- In a baking tray, mix the remaining ingredients well together, then add the meat with the sauce that forms.
- Before the fillet is fully cooked, add the potatoes with a sprinkle of parsley... Serve with white rice
Method
- Marinate the fillet meat with the spices and salt for a while.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the potatoes over medium heat until golden and half cooked.
- Remove the potatoes and fry the onion in the same pan until lightly golden.
- Remove the onion and fry the marinated meat slices over high heat until browned.
- Remove the meat from the pan and add 2 cups water with the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
- Let the ingredients simmer over low heat.
- In a baking dish, mix the remaining ingredients well, then add the meat along with the sauce it produced.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees on the middle rack.
- Cover the dish and bake until the meat, carrots, and peas are fully cooked.
- Before the beef fillet is completely done, add the potatoes with a sprinkle of parsley... serve with white rice.
