Ingredients
- Pieces of fresh salmon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- A pinch of rosemary
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 tablespoons crushed crackers
Method
- Start by adding a little soy sauce, olive oil, rosemary, a pinch of ginger, and crushed garlic to the well-washed salmon pieces.
- Do not add salt because the soy sauce contains salt… Make small slits in each salmon piece and leave it in this mixture for at least a quarter of an hour so it can fully absorb the flavors…
- … Place the salmon in a baking tray and brush each piece with a little melted butter, then sprinkle on the crushed crackers.
- … If you have a skillet or ridged grill pan, you can use it because it helps the salmon cook faster; in that case you can pan-sear the salmon on the stovetop rather than bake it in the oven.
- Place the salmon tray in a hot oven and roast for a maximum of 20 minutes. We advise not leaving the salmon in the oven too long so it doesn't dry out.Timers: 20 min
- You can serve the grilled salmon pieces alongside any salad you prefer, or with boiled or roasted vegetables, with roasted potatoes or mashed potatoes, and even with sweet potatoes
