- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup water
- In a pot over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté one chopped onion until soft.

Method
- Mix the puri dough ingredients, add the water gradually and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.Timers: 20 min
- Divide the dough into rounds and roll each piece out to about 1 cm thickness.
- Deep-fry the rolled dough in plenty of hot oil. While frying, spoon hot oil over the top so the puris puff and form bubbles.
- When the puri is lightly golden, remove it from the oil.
- Add one chopped potato and one hot pepper, sprinkle a little ground cumin, and stir.
- When the vegetables soften, add half a can of cooked chickpeas, a pinch of salt and a pinch of turmeric for color. Stir and simmer until the vegetables are fully cooked.
- Blend all the ingredients until smooth to make the sauce.
