- 12 digestive biscuits
- 2 tablespoons spreadable butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cups powdered milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 carton qashta cream
- 170 g yogurt
- 1 cup fine semolina
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 second carton qashta cream
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- A pinch of vanilla
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup water
- Qatar syrup, or simple syrup
- Pistachios for garnish
Method

- We start by preparing the first layer of the basbousa cheesecake. Finely crush the digestive biscuits and mix them with the butter and honey. Press the mixture into a cheesecake pan.
- Set the first layer aside and prepare the second layer. Mix the powdered milk with 1 cup sugar, the first carton of qashta cream, and the yogurt. Whisk well, then spread the mixture over the biscuit layer.
- Place the pan with the two layers in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.Timers: 10 min
- Now prepare the third and final layer of the basbousa cheesecake. Mix the semolina with 1/4 cup sugar, the second carton of qashta cream, oil, vanilla, baking powder, and water. Mix well until you have a smooth, homogeneous mixture or dough.
- Add the dough over the first and second layers. Return the pan to the oven at 180 degrees for another 10 minutes.Timers: 10 min
