Ingredients

  • 400 grams Lotus biscuits
  • 1 liter cold whipping cream
  • 1 box cold clotted cream (qishta qaimar)
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Lotus spread
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 50 grams soft butter
  • 400 grams Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Method

  1. Grind 3/4 of the biscuits with the butter.
  2. Set aside half a cup of the biscuits and press the rest into the cheesecake pan, then place the pan in the oven for 10 minutes at medium heat.
    Timers: 10 min
  3. Let the pan cool, then whip the chilled cream with the sugar and vanilla until thickened and put it in the fridge.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie with two tablespoons of cream. Whip the cream cheese with two tablespoons of Lotus butter and the remaining cream, add the melted chocolate and beat well, then add the whipped cream and pour the mixture into the pan over the biscuits.
  5. Put the pan in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
    Timers: 240 min
  6. Melt the remaining Lotus butter in a bain-marie until somewhat liquid and pour it over the pan after opening it so it runs slightly down the sides.
  7. Sprinkle the biscuits we set aside over the Lotus butter, decorate with biscuits, and place the pan in the refrigerator for an additional hour before serving.
