Chicken Burger with Cheddar Cheese

Chicken burger with cheddar cheese mixed into the patties. A very tasty recipe—the cheese adds tenderness so the burgers do not dry out when grilled or fried. Serve with fries and coleslaw.

Chicken burger... a homemade recipe, and nothing beats it. We grilled them on the grill, but you can also use the oven or a pan.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 700 g boneless chicken fillet
  • 300 g skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp chicken broth seasoning powder - optional
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Drain the chicken well after washing it.
  2. Grind the chicken in an electric grinder with the oil and vinegar to make it easier to grind. Grind it coarsely, without making it too fine.
  3. Place it in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients, and mix well.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for 20 to 30 minutes.

  5. Shape the burgers after rolling them into balls. Form them with a burger press or place plastic wrap on the burger patties and shape them using the bottom of a plate.
  6. Grill the chicken burgers on the grill, or as desired.
