Chicken Burger with Cheddar Cheese
Chicken burger with cheddar cheese mixed into the patties. A very tasty recipe—the cheese adds tenderness so the burgers do not dry out when grilled or fried. Serve with fries and coleslaw.
Chicken burger... a homemade recipe, and nothing beats it. We grilled them on the grill, but you can also use the oven or a pan.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 700 g boneless chicken fillet
- 300 g skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp white pepper
- Salt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp chicken broth seasoning powder - optional
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Drain the chicken well after washing it.
- Grind the chicken in an electric grinder with the oil and vinegar to make it easier to grind. Grind it coarsely, without making it too fine.
- Place it in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients, and mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 20 to 30 minutes.Timers: 30 min
- Shape the burgers after rolling them into balls. Form them with a burger press or place plastic wrap on the burger patties and shape them using the bottom of a plate.
- Grill the chicken burgers on the grill, or as desired.
