Red Mujaddara (Red Lentils & Bulgur)
Red Mujaddara — a traditional Southern Lebanese dish made with small red lentils and coarse bulgur. Fry the onions until brown to achieve the characteristic color and flavor.

Ingredients

- كوب عدس احمر
- بصل

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cook the lentils over low heat ..
- Fry the chopped onion in olive oil until it becomes very well browned and turns brown.. It is preferable to increase the quantity of onion and not to rely on only one onion
- .. Add some of the lentil cooking broth to the onions and let them boil a little... add about 1 1/4 cups of broth only
- Add 1 cup of coarse bulgur after rinsing it with water.. add salt and stir
- When the water begins to boil, reduce the heat and leave it for about a quarter of an hour or 20 minutes on low heat until it is cookedTimers: 20 min
- .. Serve the red mujaddara with salad or labneh
