Chicken escalope with coleslaw and fries, and it can be served in delicious samoon bread... a tasty and practical recipe that kids will love

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme or oregano
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Coleslaw or cabbage and mayonnaise salad:
  • 2 cups finely chopped white cabbage
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup liquid milk or 2 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method

  1. Place the boneless chicken pieces, sliced horizontally, between two sheets of parchment paper and pound them to flatten slightly.
  2. Put the chicken pieces in a bowl and season with salt, spices, thyme, and vinegar. Mix until the seasonings are well combined and coat all the pieces on every side.
  3. Leave the seasoned chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
    Timers: 30 min
  4. After the time has passed, dip the chicken pieces in flour on both sides, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the chicken pieces in hot oil over medium heat until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. The escalope can be served in delicious samoon bread with fries and coleslaw.
  7. Mix the ingredients and refrigerate until serving time.
  8. After preparing the escalope and coating it with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs, it can be frozen until needed.
  9. When frying, take the escalope out of the freezer only 10 minutes beforehand. Heat the oil first, then add the chicken and let it cook over medium heat.
