Ingredients
- Eggplant, sliced into thin slices
- Tomato (optional)
- Tomato juice
- Filling:
- Ground beef
- Chopped onion
- Oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Cinnamon
- Seven-spice mix (baharat)
- Pine nuts

Method
- Fry or roast the eggplant according to your preference
- Prepare the filling: sauté the meat until it dries, then add oil, onion, salt, spices, and pine nuts
- Stir and let it simmer on low heat until cooked
- Place a little filling inside each eggplant slice and roll it like a roll; hollow out the tomatoes and stuff them as well
- Arrange the stuffed vegetables in the baking dish and pour a quantity of tomato juice and salt over the eggplant rolls
- Put the dish into the oven until the tomato broth boils and thickens slightly
- Serve with rice
