Ingredients

- 1 kilo flour, or less depending on the type of flour - about 8 cups
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- A small pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon ground mahleb

Method

- Put the dry ingredients in a deep bowl, then begin adding the liquids gradually
- Add the warm water, then the milk, and finally the oil, and knead well until you get a soft, cohesive dough
- Let the dough rest and rise for about half an hour
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling as desired
