Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1½ cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 cups flour
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Beat the eggs and sugar with an electric or hand mixer until you get a thick, pale mixture.
- Add the vanilla and oil and continue beating.
- Add the milk and beat again.
- Add the dry ingredients and beat to obtain a homogeneous batter.
- Divide the batter into two parts.
- Add the cocoa to the first portion and stir.
- Grease the pan with butter and dust it with flour.
- Spoon a ladle or soup spoon of the white batter into the pan, then a ladle of the cocoa batter on top of it... continue alternating until all the batter is used.
- Put the pan into the hot oven and bake at 180°C for about 40–45 minutes depending on the oven's strength.
- Let the tiger cake cool at room temperature, then serve.
