Ingredients

  • Toast bread crusts
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh or dried thyme
  • Labneh dip mix

Method

  1. Remove the hard edges from the toast bread.
  2. Keep the soft toast bread — you can use it to make desserts. Click the link: Kunafa with toast bread recipe.
  3. Mix the thyme with the olive oil. Dip one end only of each toast stick into the thyme mixture. Leave the other end oil-free so it is easier to hold later.
  4. Place the toast sticks on a baking tray and bake for about 6 minutes or until they are toasted and golden.
  5. Serve them alongside the labneh dip mixed with a little dried mint and garnished with olive oil.
