Stromboli
Stromboli is one of the well-known pastries in Italian cuisine, especially in Sicily. This easy stromboli recipe will make you love it and want to make it again and again.
Ingredients

- 2 and a half cups flour
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons powdered milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup water
- Method for preparing the dough
- 1 kg boneless chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 sweet red pepper
- 1 sweet green pepper
- 2 large onions
- 1 grated carrot
- 1/2 kg mozzarella cheese
- 1 container fresh cooking cream
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of white pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh or canned mushrooms

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cut the vegetables into wedges. Put butter in a large skillet over the heat and add the chopped, well-washed chicken.
- When the chicken is somewhat cooked, add the onion cut into wedges, then the bell peppers, carrot, and mushrooms.
- Add salt and seasonings and let the vegetables cook with the chicken until tender. Add the fresh cream, and when the mixture starts to boil, add the mozzarella cheese.
- Roll the dough into one or more rectangles depending on the desired size. Cut the edges of the rectangle into wide strips.
- Place a little filling on each rectangle and fold the wide strips alternately over the filling so it is completely covered.
- Sprinkle a little sesame on top of the dough.
- Whisk an egg with two tablespoons powdered milk and brush the dough on top. Place the dough on a baking sheet lightly greased or lined with parchment paper. Put the sheet in a preheated oven at 180°C until the dough browns.
