Sesame balloon bread... a homemade recipe that's easier and tastier than anything else... it's delicious for breakfast with tea. Try it.
Ingredients
- One and a half cups liquid milk
- One tablespoon sugar
- One tablespoon instant yeast
- A pinch of salt
- Quarter cup oil
- 4 cups flour
- To coat the dough:
- Liquid milk
- Sesame seeds
Method
- Place the dry dough ingredients in a bowl and mix, then add the liquids and knead until you have a soft, smooth dough
- Cover the dough and let it rest until it doubles in size
- After the dough has risen, divide it into medium-sized balls and let them rest for five minutes
- Dip the balls in liquid milk, then in sesame seeds
- Roll out the balls or flatten them with a rolling pin, then cut each one into 4 pieces
- Let them rest for another 5 minutes before frying them in plenty of hot oil until they puff up from the inside and turn goldenTimers: 5 min
