  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon tikka curry spices
  • A pinch of red chili powder
  • Salt
  • 3 cups rice

Method

  1. Boil the meat with seasonings such as bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. Cut the carrots and sauté them with the peas in a little vegetable oil, then add the finely chopped tomato.
  2. Add the meat broth and the flavoring bundle (al-'aqda al-safra) with Tikka Curry spices, a pinch of red chili, and salt.
  3. Let the mixture boil, then add the washed rice. Reduce the heat and leave the rice to cook over low heat.
  4. When the rice is cooked, transfer it to a serving dish, arrange the boiled meat pieces on top, and garnish with fried nuts as desired.
  5. Note: You can prepare the same recipe using chicken instead of meat.
