  • 2 cups fine semolina
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups warm water, or as needed

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients, then gradually add the water to obtain a cohesive dough. After that, let the dough rest for about 15 minutes.

  2. Roll out the dough and cut it into medium circles, then let it rest for 1 hour.

  3. Place the small round pieces of dough in a hot pan and turn them until they puff up on both sides.
  4. Serve batbout bread alongside different kinds of food, or with olive oil as an appetizer.
