- Half a kilo of boiled potatoes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- Mozzarella cheese as needed and desired
- Black pepper
- Salt
- In a deep bowl, dip the balls in the beaten egg, then coat them with the breadcrumbs and fry them in plenty of oil over high heat until they brown.
Method
- Mash the potatoes, then add the flour, half the breadcrumbs, one egg, pepper, and salt.
- Knead the ingredients until combined. Shape small balls from the potato dough, stuff them with cheese, then seal them and reshape them into rounds.
- In a deep bowl, dip the balls in the beaten egg, then coat them with breadcrumbs and fry them in plenty of oil over high heat until golden brown.
