Pineapple Cake

Pineapple cake with a homemade recipe that can't be beat
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 4 eggs
- A pinch of vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- Caramel
- A small piece of butter
- Fresh or canned pineapple pieces for the top of the pan
- Pineapple juice for soaking the pan
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla well
- When the mixture turns white, add the oil and pineapple juice and continue beating
- Add the baking powder and flour and beat until bubbles come out of the pan
- Melt the cup of sugar for the caramel. When the sugar melts and caramelizes, add the butter and mix until it melts
- Pour the caramel into a baking tray or cake pan and spread the pineapple pieces over the entire bottom
- Pour the cake batter over the pineapple pieces
- Bake the pan in the oven on the rack at 180°C until cooked through
- Remove from the oven, invert onto a tray larger than the pan, and soak it with pineapple juice. Let it cool well before serving
