Ingredients
- Ready-made flan/tart shell
- 2 cups fresh peaches
- 1 small packet of gelatin or fruit jelly
- 1 cup hot water
- *Custard
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup sugar (or less to taste)
- 5 tablespoons custard powder
- How to prepare the peach flan:
- Start by preparing the custard mixture. You can make it thinner or thicker, but a medium-thick consistency is recommended.
- Whisk the sugar into the milk. Reserve one cup of this milk mixture in a separate bowl to dissolve the custard powder.

Method
- Heat the milk with sugar on the stove until hot. Before it boils, add the cup of milk that contains the dissolved custard and whisk briskly to prevent lumps.
- Set the custard aside to cool until it is cold enough to use on the tart.
- Place the ready-made flan or tart shell on the serving plate. The flan shell does not need baking and can be used straight away.
- Pour the chilled, prepared custard into the tart shell.
- Arrange the pre-sliced fresh peach pieces decoratively on top.
- Separately, dissolve the packet of gelatin in the cup of hot water. Before it cools and sets completely, pour it gently over the peaches to preserve their shine and shape.
