Pasta with meatballs, the original English-style recipe :) Try it!! A super practical and delicious recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kilo ground beef or lamb
- 500 g pasta
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- Half a cup breadcrumbs
- Liquid milk, one-third cup
- Salt
- Black pepper, 1 teaspoon
- Sweet paprika, 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder, half a teaspoon
- Cardamom, half a teaspoon
- Cinnamon, half a teaspoon
- Ginger powder, half a teaspoon
- Tomato sauce
- Vegetable bouillon cube - optional (do not add salt if using it)
- Mozzarella cheese - optional

Method
- Grind the onion and garlic in an electric mincer or finely chop them with a knife until very fine
- Put them in a skillet with a little oil and sauté until softened, then set aside
- Place the meat in a bowl and make a well in the center to add the breadcrumbs mixed with 1/3 cup milk, in addition to the sautéed onion and garlic, black pepper, salt and paprika; mix well
- Shape the meat into small meatballs..
- In the same skillet add a little oil and brown the meatballs... and just before they are fully cooked... add cardamom, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and a vegetable stock cube to the center of the skillet after pushing the meatballs to the edges... stir to create a nicely colored sauce
- After a while add a little tomato sauce and mix the sauce with the meatballs
- Place the pre-cooked pasta on a plate and add the meatballs with the sauce on top
- Finally, sprinkle a little mozzarella as desired; it can be omitted
