Ingredients

  • Leg of lamb or sheep
  • 1 tablespoon paprika or sweet red pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Vegetables as desired: onion - tomato - mushrooms - green pepper - carrots

Method

  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients, then rub the leg with it and make small cuts on the surface with the tip of a knife so it absorbs the marinade
  2. Let the leg of lamb marinate overnight
  3. The next day, wrap the leg in aluminum foil, place it in a pan and put it in the oven
  4. Leave the leg in the oven for about 4 hours at 200°C
    Timers: 240 min
  5. When we test it and find it cooked, remove the aluminum foil and brown it on all sides
  6. You can roast the vegetables you want with the leg.. add the vegetables alongside the leg one hour to forty-five minutes before the leg is done, because they don't need as much time to cook as the meat
