Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Nutella (at room temperature)
  • 1 egg (at room temperature)
  • A pinch of vanilla
  • 1 cup white flour (or as needed for the dough)

Method

  1. Put the Nutella into a deep bowl, add the egg and the vanilla... whisk them together by hand, then add the white flour and continue mixing. If the dough feels too sticky, add more flour as needed until you obtain a cohesive dough.
  2. Shape the dough into small balls and make a well in the center of each. Arrange the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and place the tray in a preheated oven at 190°C.
  3. Leave the tray in the oven for only 10 minutes to keep the cookies soft.
    Timers: 10 min
  4. Remove them from the oven and let them cool, then put a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each ball in the well you made before baking.
