How to Make Mushroom Soup

  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cooking cream - optional
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of black pepper

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. First, finely chop the onion. Place the chopped onion in a deep pot and sauté in oil until soft, then add the minced or mashed garlic and stir well.
  2. Once the onion and garlic have softened and lightly browned, add the mushroom slices or chopped mushrooms as desired.
  3. Add the bouillon cube with continuous stirring, then add the butter. Also add the flour and mix well until the ingredients are well combined.
  4. Finally, add the milk and enough water to reach the desired consistency. At this stage you may also add heavy cream to enrich and thicken the soup.
  5. Finally, season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper.
