Mini shaibiyat... an easy and quick recipe for the tastiest dessert after iftar
Ingredients
- Ready-made puff pastry dough, cut into small squares
- The cream filling:
- Cup liquid milk
- Cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons starch
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
- Syrup for serving / shira

Method
- Mix the milk, cream, and starch well while cold.
- Put them in a pot over medium heat and stir continuously until they thicken.
- Finally add rose water and orange blossom water, turn off the heat, and stir well.
- Let the cream (custard) cool to room temperature.
- Fill the puff pastry squares after stacking several sheets, then fold them into triangles after filling.
- Bake them for just a few minutes until the shaibiyat turn golden.
- Syrup them with cold syrup at room temperature as soon as they come out of the oven and garnish with pistachios or as desired.
- Serve mini shaibiyat at room temperature.
