Meat, onion and tomato skillet... a light, clean and tasty quick meal
Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo meat, cut very small (ras asfour style) or coarsely minced
- or
- coarsely minced
- 3 onions
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 chicken stock cube
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika or sweet red pepper powder
- 3 tsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- a pinch of chili or to taste

Method
- Sauté the meat in oil until it changes color, then add finely chopped onion and cook until it softens.
- Add the tomatoes cut into medium cubes, the spices, the stock cube, and a light pinch of salt because the stock cube is salty, and stir.
- Add half a cup of water, stir, and simmer over low heat until the meat is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
- Serve the meat, onion, and tomato skillet immediately; it is eaten with Arabic bread.
