- 1 cup fine semolina
- 1 cup flour (you may need a little more depending on the flour)
- Half a cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons coconut (for flavor)
- Half a cup corn oil
- Half a cup butter
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pistachios for garnish
- Hot syrup (sugar syrup)
- Shape the dough into fingers, then fold each into an eye shape.
- You can also shape them into circles, press the center to form an eye, and place a pistachio in the middle.

Method
- Sift the dry ingredients well, then gradually add the remaining ingredients and knead well.
- Shape the dough into sticks and then fold into eye shapes.
- You can also shape into circles, press the center to form an eye, and place a pistachio in the middle.
- Place the eyes on a parchment-lined tray and bake on the middle rack at medium heat.
- When the eyes are cooked and browned on top, remove the tray from the oven and pour hot syrup over them; let Maha’s Eyes cool before serving.
