Lotus Cheesecake Recipe
A wonderful and very tasty Lotus cheesecake. We recommend serving Lotus cheesecake on special occasions as it’s sure to impress everyone.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 2 packs Lotus biscuits
- 100 g butter
- 2 tablespoons Lotus butter
- 2 sachets ready-made cream powder
- 1 cup liquid milk
- 1 can ready-made cream cheese
- 1 cup or 10 squares cream cheese
- 1 sachet lemon-flavored gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Line the base of the pan with whole Lotus biscuits or Digestive biscuits or any plain biscuits that work. The biscuits must be crushed and mixed with melted butter.
- Place the biscuit base in the fridge while you prepare the cream.
- Whip the instant powdered cream with 1 cup liquid milk for 5 minutes, and when it becomes frothy add a can of plain clotted cream (qashta)....Timers: 5 min
- Also add cream cheese of any type available.... Dissolve a packet of gelatin (jello) in lukewarm water and when it cools add it to the cream mixture.
- Mix the cream with a wooden spoon, not in an electric mixer.
- Spread the cream over the biscuit base in the pan and return the pan to the fridge for at least 4 hours until it sets and firms up well...Timers: 240 min
- When serving, melt Lotus spread (quantity to taste) over low heat or in the microwave and pour it over the cheesecake and decorate as desired...
- Note: if you want a sweeter taste, you can add a little powdered sugar (not granulated sugar) to the cream mixture..
