Lava Cake with Ice Cream

- 100 grams or 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup dark bittersweet chocolate
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons sifted white flour
Method
- Put the chocolate, butter and sugar in a small pot or heatproof bowl, place that pot in a larger pot with boiling water, and set both over low heat until the mixture fully melts; this stage is called a bain-marie.
- After the chocolate, sugar and butter have melted, set the mixture aside for about 5 minutes.Timers: 5 min
- Whisk the eggs with the vanilla, then add the eggs gradually to the chocolate-sugar mixture while stirring continuously. Add the flour and continue whisking.
- Pour the batter into small cake molds greased with butter and dusted with a sprinkle of cocoa.
- Place a piece of chocolate in each mold and put the tray and molds into a preheated oven at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes, baking from the bottom only.Timers: 15 min
