Jelly pudding... a delicious and refreshing dessert
Ingredients
- 2 cups or 500 ml milk
- half a cup or 100 g sugar
- half a cup or 125 ml liquid whipping cream
- quarter cup or 60 g room-temperature butter
- 2 tablespoons or 30 g cornstarch
- 1 packet strawberry jelly, or any other flavor
- half a teaspoon or 2.5 ml liquid vanilla

Method
- Prepare the jelly as directed on the box: dissolve the packet contents in hot water at a rate of 1 cup per packet, then add 1 cup cold water per packet and stir.
- Pour the jelly into dishes halfway, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Dissolve the starch in half a cup of milk, then add it to the rest of the milk and sugar in a pot over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the mixture boils and thickens.
- Remove the pudding from the heat, then add the vanilla and butter and stir until the butter melts... set aside.
- In a large bowl, put the liquid cream and whip it with an electric beater until creamy.
- Add the cream to the pudding, then fold slowly from bottom to top in one direction until the cream and pudding are fully combined.
- Carefully pour the pudding over the jelly, then return the dishes to the refrigerator for no less than 6 hours.
